This show was at the Thebarton Theatre in Adelaide. The place has such an authentic beauty to it. We’ve been lucky enough to play there a couple times now. I love being able to watch the other bands from the private balconies that sit on both sides of the stage. Make you feel like Phantom of the Opera. The first time we played Thebarton Theatre was on Gizzfest in 2016. Jahmil from ‘Boulevards’ got so excited when we started to play that he ran out on stage, grabbed Stu’s mic and screamed at the top of his lungs before leaping into the crowd to surf. Amongst this chaos he accidentally kicked Joe’s microphone which smashed Joe back in the face causing the lip to swell up and bleed. It was a night to remember thats for sure, heck that whole tour was! Take me back baby - Ambrose X
